Description
❈ Name: Sibella Vauclair
❈ Age: 26
❈ Occupation: Artisan, Stonemason, and Combatant. Former Priestess and Scholar.
❈ Skills: Carpentry, Brewing, Cooking, Calligraphy, Speaking, Swordsmanship, Jewelry Making.
❈ History: ❈
“Protennoia’s gifts to her children were pure, plain and unadorned, birth, love, and light.”
Sibella possesses unusual, striking features. Those close to her regarded her unusual appearance as a divine omen, and she was dedicated to the Church of the Divine in her early life. She lived most of her years in a monastery, and has spent her life thus far studying various crafts and spreading her faith throughout Gallia. In her service, she was dedicated to the First Redeemer as a priestess and took a series of solemn vows in service to the Divine, including a vow of purity, a vow of poverty, a vow of charity, a vow of humility, and a vow of vigilance.
Only one decade later, Sibella renounced her vows. Her reasons for doing so are unclear, but it is rumored that the church formally released her from her sacred duties. Upon release, the young woman traveled across Gallia on a pilgrimage, gathering knowledge and allies before settling in Aven, Kerys with Milites Sanctae Lucis. She carries a sense of shame with her, made evident by the fact that she chooses to live outside the monastery. Despite her troubled past, she continues to be a close friend and ally of Milites Sanctae Lucis, offering her sword, her knowledge, and her loyalty. The order serves Armozel, but Sibella struggles to accept the idea of taking on another set of holy vows.
❈ Appearance: ❈
“A few, bearing still the memory of Protennoia’s warmth, wandered far and founded hidden sanctuaries. These scattered lineages preserved glimmers of the old peace…”
Sibella is a compassionate and serene presence, graceful yet with a persistent hint of mischief that can always be observed through a smirk. Her long, platinum hair reaches past her waist and gives her an almost ethereal glow. Her features are sharp and symmetrical, framing a set of large, pale blue eyes. She typically wears elaborate robes or dresses paired with jewelry, but exchanges her finery for armor and weapons when necessary.
❈ Personality: ❈
“Nine times before, the Divine shaped the tapestry of existence. Nine times, it unraveled. Each Creation was corrupted by a Deadly Sin, rising from within like rot in the root…”
Central to Sibella’s identity is her faith, and though she is no longer a priestess, she still maintains her religious habits. She prays at dawn and at dusk, her very own versions of lauds and vespers. Her vows still influence her in certain ways, inspiring her to offer charity to the needy and aid to the righteous. Sibella is kind yet questioning, never hesitating to challenge those around her. She is blunt and direct with most, yet poised and polite when it is required of her. Some may notice that a certain darkness accompanies Sibella. Sin, perhaps, or doubt, or corruption. In other words: she is devout, yet still deeply flawed. If one can look past her many faults, a fiercely loyal and devoted companion can be found in her.

❈ OOC Information: ❈
Hey there! I am always looking for roleplay in Pax Dei. Please don’t hesitate to reach out in game or on discord if you’d like to set up a scene or a story, I am always open to new writing. I prefer long term storylines with plenty of depth, conflict, and progression. I also much prefer that other roleplayers do not use AI such as ChatGPT in their emotes. Paragraph / Mirror roleplay style. I keep IC and OOC completely separate, no exceptions!
